Photovoltaic (Solar) Testers
PHOTOVOLTAIC (SOLAR) TESTERS
Zedflo is able to supply and ship the Metrel MI 3108 photovoltaic (solar) tester across Australia. This versatile photovoltaic and electrical installation tester has multiple uses, and it is designed to perform tests on single-phase photovoltaic (PV) installations, as well as the complete safety testing of electrical installations.
MORE ABOUT PHOTOVOLTAIC TESTING
The Metrel MI3108 photovoltaic (solar) tester is designed to test all types of solar power systems, and has proved to be especially useful for the testing of photovoltaic cells that are being used to power safety and monitoring devices situated in remote locations. It provides highly accurate monitoring data quickly and efficiently, which is able to be stored on the device or downloaded to a PC.
The measuring functions provided by our photovoltaic testing equipment include (on the DC side) voltage, current and power, along with Uoc (Open Circuit Voltage) and Isc (Short Circuit Current). It also measures irradiance and module temperature. On the AC side, a photovoltaic (solar) tester will measure voltage, current and power, plus the efficiency of the PV module and converter.
The Metrel MI 3108 is also designed to undertake the safety testing of electrical installations and provides a variety of measurements. These include insulation resistance, PE conductor continuity, line and loop impedance, and earth resistance.
Other features of the MI3108 photovoltaic (solar) tester include a large internal memory capacity (data can also be downloaded to a PC), a built-in help screen, and the ability to produce professional standard installation test reports.
